Why Join LIPA
The Louisiana Independent Pharmacies Association (LIPA) is a member-based, 502(c)6 non-profit organization that has worked to empower and advance Louisiana's independent pharmacy community for over 20 years.
Pharmacists are our communities' most accessible healthcare providers, and LIPA is focused on helping our members improve the overall quality of health care in their communities to realize the best possible outcomes.

LIPA dues are deductible to you or your wholesaler as a business expense. Becoming a member gives you access to a variety of resources and information, as well as a comprehensive group of benefits.

Joining LIPA gives you access to many valuable programs and services at no additional cost, including:

Audit advice and technical support from attorneys and legal counsel to assist in filing complaints to the Louisiana Insurance Commissioner, Department of Justice, Department of Health, Office of Group Benefits, and other payers around the state and nation.

Filing Medicaid reimbursement appeals.

Payment of DME Surety Bonds to allow member pharmacies to sell durable medical equipment at no additional cost.

Full paid memberships to the Louisiana Pharmacists Association and the National Community Pharmacists Association upon request.
