Background: Bill, following in the footsteps of his father Robert M. Hall, joined the ranks of the Insurance adjusting profession with General Adjustment Bureau. In 1971, he was invited to join the firm of L.J. Shaw & Company. He became a General Adjuster in 1981, and officer and stock holder in 1983. He assumed the role of President in 1992 and continues in that position. He has been a panelist and an individual presenter at the Property Loss Research Bureau’s annual Lass Manager’s Conferences for more than 20 years. Bill has expertise in serious Fire Losses (commercial, industrial and residential) and Time Element claims, and is called upon often to coordinate, investigate and conclude major high profile claims for various insurance companies. Bill is a Private, Instrument rated pilot and uses the flexibility of air travel in larger losses and aviation claim work. Bill is often called upon to speak to groups on issues relevant to the claims industry. Bill has handled the largest property claims experienced by five of his faithful clients.
Experience: High value residential, multi-million dollar Manufacturing and Industrial losses since 1978. Warehouse, Power Company, Fidelity, Heavy Equipment, Aviation, Time Element and construction Defect. He has been called to give expert testimony in various states and has acted as Appraiser or Umpire in appraisal.
