EXPERIENCE: Trevor has been involved in the handling and adjustment of first and third party property losses for 33 years. His work has involved national and international assignments for insurers and large, self insured corporations. Work experience ranges from mining and major building losses, to agriculture - has an intimate knowledge of hydroponics and the rapidly expanding aquacultural developments throughout Australia. Areas of expertise include handling of major claims for fire, earthquake and cyclone damage to large buildings - has also had considerable experience with railway losses, including liability claims arising therefrom. Has attended at and delivered papers in various international forums and is author of a standard test on agricultural losses.

Specific major claims handled - Suva Civic Center (Fiji) cyclone claim to building under construction - numerous other major cyclone related losses including BI Claims. Major property losses for Australian National Railways, Broken Hill Pty Ltd. and the State Government.

Fire/explosion claims (including bombings) of a major restaurant, motels/hotels, supermarkets. Impact damage to port facilities and other structural losses.

Has been Advisor to local insurance industry in relation to agricultural losses/underwriting.

Trevor has particular expertise in the handling of losses in remote areas, utilising available facilities for repair and re-instatement. Has also undertaken considerable research in relation to Building Liability Claims, arising from use of asbestos. Has a support staff of 5 adjusters.
