HOW LIPA MEMBERS ARE SELECTED

Membership is by invitation only and is reserved for those property adjusting professionals who have distinguished themselves as both leaders and sound, ethical practitioners in the industry. To become a LIPA member requires, among others, the following:

• Minimum 15 years property adjusting experience.
• Multi-company, million dollar-plus claims experience.
• Most senior property adjuster in his/her firm.
• Extended tenure with current employer.
• Possess superior reputation ratings from an independently conducted survey of applicant's client base.
• Nonaffiliated with any national or international adjusting firm.
• Currently serving as a full-time property adjuster.
• Accepted into LIPA with 100% membership approval.

Acknowledged by the industry as a proven leader. Have yearly attended industry sponsored educational meetings.
