Both commercial and personal lines service; 1968-1971 - Property adjuster and branch manager in Geneva, New York, Staten Island, New York and Midtown Manhattan; 1971-1973-General Adjuster National Accounts office handling commercial and industrial losses for large insureds throughout United States. Accounts involved large losses with Electrical and Gas Utilities, Realty Management Businesses, Chemical Companies, Paper Manufacturing Companies, Glass Manufacturers, Leather Skin Companies, Drug Manufacturers, Clothing Retail Businesses and Tire Manufacturers. Adjustments included direct damage, business interruption and extra expense; 1973-1977 - Manager of Quality Control for GAB. Supervised technical quality for catastrophe operations and for major losses, defined as in excess of $250,000.00; 1977-1987 - Vice President and Operations Manager for the Central and Northeast United States territory. Continued claims handling involved Retail Chain Merchandising, Food Processing and Manufacturing, Paper Board Manufacturing and Metal Salvage Industry; 1987-1994 - Executive Vice-President of GAB. Responsible for United States operations countrywide, while being a member of the Office of the President.
