EXPERIENCE: With GAB for 18 years as branch manager in Waterbury,
Connecticut and
Providence, Rhode Island, then Regional General Adjuster in Los Angeles,
California. Left GAB in 1984 to start GMA Insurance Adjusters. Specializes in
large commercial and
industrial property claims, including course of construction, defect cases,
manufacturing, flood and
earthquake (worked four major earthquakes), inland marine, business
interruption, fraud and arson.
Has instructed business interruption classes for the Insurance Institute of
America in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and San Diego, California. Set up
programs and
conducted seminars on property coverage and business interruption for company
staff.
Has handled claims nationwide including Alaska and Mexico. Is fluent in two
languages and
traveled extensively in 45 countries.
LEGAL: Qualified as an expert witness in courts in Los Angeles, Orange
and San Diego
counties, as well as San Francisco and Sacramento, California. Appointed as an
appraiser and umpire in California and has testified as an expert witness in
State and Federal
