the Year award in Atlanta from the Insurance Professionals of Atlanta, Inc. BACKGROUND: Started in the claim business in 1961 with GAB in Kalamazoo,
Michigan. White
was employed by GAB for 23 years performing as an Adjuster, Branch Manager,
Regional Casualty Supervisor, Regional Manager and Contract Manager. In 1984,
White started
Cramer Johnson White & Associates, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia which evolved into
White-Hart &
Associates, Inc. in 2002. White serves as president of White-Hart & Associates
which is a regional
independent adjusting firm with six offices in Georgia and one office in
Alabama. EXPERIENCE: With 46 years experience, White has always been a hands on
Executive General
Adjuster handling major property and liability claims. He specializes in
handling
large complicated property losses, business interruption losses, time element
losses, large
habitational losses, fidelity losses, construction liability claims, premises
liability claims, products
liability claims, medical malpractice claims, E&O claims, and auto liability
claims.
He serves regularly as an appraiser and umpire in the appraisal process under
the
insurance policy. White worked extensively on major losses from Hurricane Hugo,
Hurricane
Andrew, Hurricane Charley, Hurricane Frances, Hurricane Jeanne, Hurricane
Katrina, Hurricane Wilma, Northridge earthquake and other significant catastrophes. From 1974 to
1978, White
handled the PPB chemical livestock disaster in Michigan where $45 million was
paid to 242 farmers.
White has been a panelist and presenter at the PLRB Conference, and he is
frequently called upon
by his peers for opinions and expert advice.
